         DRAMA

Drama has returned to Elizabeth Park School.   Not in the sense of having a problem but in the sense of Drama the subject.   Many students at Elizabeth Park School are experiencing learning about Drama for the very first time.   Having a Drama specialist gives the students a real chance to focus on Drama as a core subject.

Drama lessons in 2008 will consist of the following topics:

~        Mime

~        Improvisation

~       Scriptwriting

~       Review Writing

~       Theatre Sports

~       Circus Skills

Students attend one Drama lesson per week, thus the reason for only covering the topics above. Many of the skills the students learn in Drama will be able to be transferred into many everyday situations.   Drama is something that students see everyday of the life, whether it is on television,

movies or reading a body language and facial expressions.   Drama is all about communication.

Most importantly,  DRAMA is FUN
