ELIZABETH PARK CHILD PARENT CENTRE (Pre-School/Kindy)

Delivers high quality early childhood education in a safe and friendly environment.

Preschool sessions:

4 half day sessions per week for 4 year olds.

A.M. - Monday - Thursday  8.50-11.50 am.

P.M. - Monday - Thursday 12.40-3.00 pm.

Pre-Entry :

Introductory activities for children 1 term before they commence preschool Friday mornings 8.50 - 10.50 am.

Early Entry

Available for: 
~children with special needs eg. speech language, physical and developmental delays,
~3 year olds from Aboriginal background,

~children from non-English speaking backgrounds.

Transition Programme:
Involvement in school activities and class lessons for one term prior to commencing school.

Playgroup:

For parents and their children aged birth to school age.

Wednesday and Friday mornings 9.00-11.00 am.    $1.00 per session.

Literacy and Numeracy Skills:

Pre-writing skills, letter and number recognition.

Social skills:
Learning to share, take turns and develop other social skills through play.

Computer:

Introduction to computers via interactive CD ROM games.

Fitness:

Children learn about keeping fit and healthy with our regular fitness times and Gym Circuit.

Healthy Eating:

Our Preschool has a Healthy Eating Policy.   This teaches the children about healthy eating, and encourages them to try new recipes with our cooking sessions, and new fruit/vegetables on our shared fruit day.

Fees:

Low, affordable rates - $25.00 per term.   Pre-entry $6.00 per term .
